Project Details:
Northern Star Counselling, reached out to me a hope to transform their online presence. Their existing website fell short of reflecting the warmth of their therapy sessions and just didn’t feel like it connected with them. It was also hard for them to update, missing vital information that potential clients were looking for and lacked functionality. Their goal for the look and feel of their new website was to create a website that mirrored a natural west-coast vibe and the supportive and welcoming environment they offer their clients.
With all of that in mind, we created something serene, peaceful, and soothing. This was achieved through a cool and calming colour palette and imagery that pulls in natural elements like local mountains and lakes. The design itself is clean and minimal, allowing for easy navigation and avoiding visual clutter. I designed the site with the user experience in mind, allowing potential clients who are seeking therapy, the ability to easily learn about the various counselling sessions offered, their therapeutic approaches, explore each therapist's qualifications and experience, and even complete their intake form directly on the site. We achieved this with a clear structure and design simplicity, allowing the user to not be overwhelmed through the process of navigating the site.
By combining thoughtful design and clear communication, the new website embodies Northern Star Counselling's the message that they are trying to get across. It reflects their commitment to providing a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment, encouraging trust and fostering connection.
The new counselling website design for Norther Star Counselling now reflects more of who they are and how they are able to serve their clients. I am so glad I was able to help bring their website vision to life and create something for them that feels more connected and brings in new business.
